Welcome to my custom, personalized home portraits! These hand-painted watercolour house illustrations are lovely gifts for special occasions such as housewarmings, anniversaries, birthdays, weddings, and closing gifts from realtors. Also a heartwarming present for any parents or grandparents moving from their beloved homes to retirement or nursing homes.

Portraits are hand drawn and painted, and can be purchased as either the 8”x 10” Original Paintings for $250 + Tracked Shipping, or high resolution Digital PDF Files for $175 for you to print at any size. The illustration will include the house + the plants/ trees surrounding (no further background will be painted). Please carefully read below the steps-by-step process:

STEP 1: Send me a clear, high resolution photo of your home (straight-on preferred) to amy.knill@gmail.com . Let me know if you would like anything removed from the image before I start the drawing process (ex. remove trees/ unwanted objects).

STEP 2: I will hand-sketch your home onto watercolour paper, and then email you a photo of the sketch for your approval. Any edits for adding/ removing elements can be made during this time.

STEP 3: Once approved, I will proceed to hand-paint your home with watercolours (this is the fun bit!)

STEP 4: Once painted, I will email a photo of the painted home to you for final approval. Tiny edits can be made during this step, such as slightly adjusting colours + adding shadows. No edits of adding/ removing elements can be made during this time.

STEP 5: Once fully approved, I will mail your Original Painting with Canada Post tracked shipping, or send you the competed high-resolution PDF file!
